Black Lotus Kult All Saints Amulets!

All Saints 2

The first wave of an intended small edition of these were released in 2013. The edition was never completed due to the death of legendary jewelry designer Mark Defrates.

Each of these sterling silver amulets are handmade, one of a kind items. Mark pasted the design onto sheet, drilled and cut them out using non-powered tools, and then stamped with hand punches and worked the piece with files and small tools. To finish, the bail was hard-soldered, and then they were given a hand-polish. It was very labor-intensive compared to letting a computer and machine do it, but this is what Mark and his wife demanded to ensure the quality they desired.

The design is based on Hagen von Tulien’s stunning “Black Lotus Kult” artwork. Each of these pendants were personally charged by Michael Bertiaux, and given a blessing by him of “Love, Joy and Prosperity” for the new owner. These were then charged in a “Typhonian Tantric” ritual by Black Lotus Kult, and further blessed in a mass of the Ecclesia Gnostica Spiritualis.

In respect to Mark, these will never be reproduced by another jeweler, thus is is the only edition of this artwork.

BLK Celebration 2019 Performer – Melanie presents NATARAJA!

At BLK Celebration’s 2019’s GODLIKE show,

Melanie

will bring us

Nataraja

Mel 1 (1)

Melanie depicts Shiva as Nataraja – Lord of the Dance

As depicted in mid-dance in various ancient artworks, Nataraja is the god Shiva in a form where he experiences self-transcendence through dance.

In a ring of fire, Nataraja performs the Tandava, a sacred dance which presents the creation, nurturing, and the ultimate destruction of ALL there is.

Melanie’s self-choreographed version of this rite is a blend of Bharatnatyam and tribal fusion bellydance.

Mel 2

Melanie as captured by The Dancers Eye

Melanie has been a bellydance and Bollywood performer in central Florida for over 15 years.

She is an enthusiastic performer and student of all kinds of dance, including tribal fusion, classical Indian dance, ballroom and gothic/theatrical styles.

Melanie frequently performs at various cultural and arts events, and she says that she is honored to bring her art to the stage at GODLIKE for you this year.

“Who are the real monsters?

Society’s outsiders, or our thoughts that lead to society creating these outsiders?

We label them subhuman. These innately human monsters are woven into the fabric of how we think and how we interact.

We take the upper hand and view ourselves as gods, but we are tethered together.

They are US”.

BLK Celebration 2019 Performer – Danielle Boots presents ISIS!

At BLK Celebration’s 2019’s GODLIKE show,

Danielle Boots

will bring us

The Mother Goddess Isis

isis2

Isis has made an appearance at every Black Lotus Kult performance, most recently at BLK Celebration 2018 in Chicago. Kindle Cimmerian’s performance helped illustrate Caroline Wise’s talk “The Blood Red Cord of Isis” (which caused a stir with the TSA, until the Goddess let them know that it was OK).

We are very excited to announce that the Isis-tradition continues through the skills of the lovely and talented Danielle Boots.

In reflecting about Isis, Danielle shared the following,

“She is the epitome of the divine feminine. She is the Protector. She is the Nurturer. She is the lover. She is the strong. She is the wise.  She is the Goddess Isis!”

Isis.jpg

Danielle Boots is a diverse dancer who has been dancing in the Central Florida area for the past 9 years. She loves the beauty, flow and grace of oriental dance, and the strong, luscious fluidity of tribal fusion. Both styles consume her heart whenever she dances. Danielle aims to capture your heart with her performance at GODLIKE – An Evocative Evening, inspired by the Mother, Lover, Protector, Healer – the Goddess Isis.

BLK Celebration 2019 – Michael Staley presents “Achad and the Aeon of Maat”

At BLK Celebration 2019

Michael Staley

will present

“Achad and the Aeon of Maat”

maat1

Frater Achad (Charles Stansfeld Jones) announced the Inauguration of the Aeon of Maat in April 1948. The work of Jack Parsons was moving in a similar direction shortly before this time. In the early 1970s Margaret Ingalls received Liber Pennae Praenumbra, ‘The Book of the Foreshadowing of the Feather’, cast as a communication from Maat. Some years later, Kenneth Grant expanded on this in his book Outside the Circles of Time (1980), drawing parallels between the work of Achad and that of Margaret Ingalls, and tracing links with the Amalantrah Working of 1918.

Mick Maat.PNG

In this talk, Michael Staley looks back at Achad’s development and output, tracing the emergence of a current which takes in his work with Crowley as his ‘Magical Son’, his discovery of the Key to The Book of the Law, his divergence and subsequent estrangement from Crowley, and his work in the Universal Brotherhood, culminating in the incoming of the Aeon of Maat. He goes on to consider the relevance of this current today.

BLK Celebration 2019 – Michael Staley presents “Austin Osman Spare & Kenneth Grant: Two Magicians”

At BLK Celebration 2019

Michael Staley

will present

“Austin Osman Spare & Kenneth Grant: Two Magicians”

Kenneth Grant first encountered the work of Austin Osman Spare in 1941, coming across The Book of Pleasure. By the time he met Spare in 1949 he had thoroughly steeped himself in Spare’s published work. Spare was then writing another book, and soon Grant was typing drafts for him, editing, and collaborating on some of the material. When Spare died in 1956, he left his manuscripts and papers to Grant. The material was eventually collated and edited in the early 1990s, and published in Zos Speaks! by FULGUR PRESS in 1998.

Drawing on unpublished typescripts and diary entries, Michael discusses Grant’s growing understanding and presentation of Spare across the decades, and the influence of Spare on Grant’s own work.

will present

“The Mechanics of Magic – Magical Machines Throughout Occult History”

Sash

Throughout the ages, select individuals have chosen to look deeply in to those aspects of our world that remain hidden, to more deeply understand how we affect change in this world beyond the standard mode of the masses. These individuals can see the connections between the physical realm and the spiritual, and through contact with the spirits these individuals have developed tools in our world that aid in the affecting of the world of spirit, and spiritual tools to affect our physical realm. These individuals are the Magicians, or the Mechanics of Magic. During this discussion, we will learn of many different types of magical machines created through the course of our vibrant occult history, from the sympathetic magics of ancient shamans, the curse tablets and other magica materia of the PGM, magical machines in the grimoire tradition, beginning with “Picatrix mechanix”, or the art of dialing in the perfect astrological elections to empower talismans. We will also discuss the concept of Art as a magical machine, specifically the multidimensional machines in the work of Michael Bertiaux. The discussion will conclude with a presentation of several examples of magical machines from the authors’ collection including a new device created specifically for this discussion.

Sash

Sashah Ruge is an artist, professional chef, and student of magic and the occult for over 30 years, with a particular interest in spirit communication and work via the grimoire traditions, LHP philosophy and magical techniques, both traditional Haitian Vodou and Esoteric Voudon, as well as a strong focus on the utilization of H.P. Lovecraft’s mythos in a mix of ceremonial magic and shamanism that has led Sashah to become the directing force within the Lovecraftian coven mentioned in Bertiaux’s writings. Qetesh – Goddess of Sacred Ecstasy

Veronica Photographed by Barnacle Media

At this year’s GODLIKE show,  Veronica Lynn will take us back to the Bronze Age, by bringing Qetesh to the stage! That’s our kind of goddess!
